Born in 1974, in Namur, Belgium, Xavier Thoma is a highly-qualified professional. He received his Masters of Engineering (M.Eng) degree in Engineering, Economics and Management in 1996, from the Oxford University (UK). Prior to this, in 1992, he obtained his International Baccalaureate from the American School of Paris. He is presently pursuing opportunities for acquiring properties and developing them. For the past 7-8 years, he has been working with a private fund management group with $700 million in assets under management. He possesses extensive experience of working at leading organizations in the financial services industry. He started his professional career in 1996, serving JP Morgan & Co. Ltd. in London, as a corporate finance analyst. He later joined Morgan Stanley & Co. Ltd. in London and served the firm as Vice President (2002-2003) and Associate (2000-2002).
In 2003/2004, Xavier Thoma founded Globefin European Advisors Ltd. and assumed the role of the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the firm. He enjoys travelling and loves to discover new cultures, smells and sceneries. He has visited numerous places like Cuba, Namibia, Brazil, Latvia, China, Zambia, Mozambique, Northern California and South Africa. In addition to travelling, he also has a passion for skiing and water sports (sailing / kite surfing), during his free time. |
